The Nagpal and Popli families have a shared history in the province of Sind, a territory in western India prior to Partition which became a province of Pakistan. Both families left Sind for Bombay under very different circumstances, and eventually united in the marriage of Ram Nagpal and Shaku Popli. They raised their two sons in California's Silicon Valley, where they still reside. Their eldest son, Ajay, commissioned Company History Publishers to produce an illustrated history of both families in the form of
a case-bound coffee table book. We were able to reproduce a century-old piece of fabric from Sind on the cloth binding of this family legacy to complement a double gate-fold family tree and the fascinating story told in the words of its family members.
